FIRESTORM
-
No fire burns true. Something is always left behind.
K'RUL, P.899, FALL OF LIGHT, STEVEN ERIKSON

A Firestorm is phenomenon where an extreme conflagration reaches an intesity
that creates and sustains wind with devastating effects.
Most of the times, a natural phenomenon.
Unfortunate events though, brought another side to it, the (in)human effect.
The capacity of the armories reached a point where Firestorms occured
after extensive bombings like Hamburg or in the case of Hiroshima, a single atomic bomb.

This study works on an building volume that has already been flattened out by 75%,
like in the tragic case of Hiroshima.

Firestorm caused by man is one unique case
where an environmental phenomenon of this scale, emerges so rapidly and harshly.
In a sad way, humanity has managed to generate a phenomenon of an epic scale that wasn't accidental.
